Kacie Stirrett

Kacie has spent most of her adult life working with youth and going to school. In 2014, Kacie graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts in English & Sociology. She spent several of her university years as a Girl Guide Leader. Through this wonderful organization, Kacie had the honour of working with a Pathfinder unit run out of the Calgary Young Offenders Center. The girls she met there inspired her to take her education to the next level and she recently graduated from UVIC with a Bachelor of Social Work, specializing in Child Welfare. With this program, Kacie had the privilege of working with many youth & understanding MCFD. Kacie believes that every youth needs someone to fiercely believe in them and hopes that the youth she works with know that she so greatly believes in their ability to be good people and do great things! Kacie can often be found in one of the houses toting around Fran, her bearded dragon, who loves to share her lizzy snuggles with any of the residents.
